Located on the Eastern shores of Loch Fyne, a scenic 2 hour drive from Glasgow, this award winning contemporary Spa Resort with a marina at its heart offers a range of 4 star Lodge and studio apartment accommodation as well as dog friendly cottages and couple`s retreats. Yes, it is 0.3 miles away from the center of Portavadie. We've been here three times in the last twelve months and it's the perfect escape every time. Pity they’re not in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. But it did limit what there is to do and with the restaurant menu the same each day we just didn’t bother eating out after two visits. Very well organised due to Covid. We will most certainly go back, hopefully once things are back to normal. Accommodation was spotless and well equipped , view over the marina was wonderful. We could not have picked a better location. After plenty of sunshine and a swim in the beautiful outdoor infinity pool we dined in the restaurant; the food, service and cocktail menu was excellent! Some of the more popular amenities offered include an indoor pool, an on-site restaurant, and a lounge. There are three dining outlets on property to choose from. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Free Wi-Fi is available everywhere except cottages and retreat. Children welcome everywhere and catered for with bicycles, play park and sand pit.
Excellent local seafood, langoustines are huge!! There are more places to choose from in the Portavadie area. Spotlessly clean toilets and shower facilities, electric hook up and bbq area ... what more is needed? Booked 2 times in the last 6 hours on our site. WELL, with plenty of walks around, leisure facilities, onsite resort shop and a superb restaurant we were truly spoiled! Interiors are light and bright, whatever the Scottish weather. We hope to see again soon. The room was a good size but the absence of a fridge was a letdown. The townhouse apartment is really well appointed and has a large balcony with lovely views overlooking the marina and and has a great social space, for get togethers(at a safe distance!).
