Looks like Blackstar have updated the HT Range. I was primarily looking at the head version, most likely the 50, or 100.

But these amps come biased so cold from factory, it was an unfair comparison to me. Lol.... you want to stay out of the other thread. Mine is a lot clearer, especially on the clean channel. Gigging?? Oh... people that rip on Chappers and the Captain can suck it... they do a good job at what they do... Chappers can out play 85% of the people here. The HT Club 50 offers the same feature set as the HT Club 40 combo in a versatile head format. Combo-wise, the 2x12 is enticing, though both speakers would have to go. The HT-5 and its derivatives is a rather different beast (and unique until Bellringers stole it!) Well, to THEM perhaps but will 90% of the punters pay another £10? After a bit of chin scratching they said call it £239. They have some nice new features on them too. I don't think anybody wants huge heads anymore, but plenty of people still like high powered heads. Nothing about price far as I can see. If you mean the difference twixt the Five and everything else? The company recommends the tubes be biased at 50mv. Before HT5 V low power guitar amps tended to be single ended and very basic. I run mine at a healthy 84mv about 70%.
Single speaker Z, no loop, no headphone out and generally poor performance. I would have to look, not sure if the 50 watt is the same as the MKI, with no resonance control. Also...not saying that the mkii isn't as "alive" sounding....but just didn't seem as "thick" sounding I guess u could say. Getting disillusioned and burned out with pedals, Morgan Wallen will not perform on SNL because he went to a party and didn't wear a mask. ... PMT slashed the prices on their HT mk1 range so had to drop the price of the second hand HT40 I was looking at even further. Anybody try the new MKII Series Blackstars? Only the giant MVFP companies can fight such things worldwide.
