Taynuilt also has a few shops and a pretty, 9 hole golf course. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the place to friends and family. Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are available by arrangement for guests to enjoy watersports out on the loch. Lovely warm apartment with all facilities you need. What a lovely vacation spot in a beautiful castle type hotel. A 31-year-old woman was taken to Hairmyres Hospital, in the town, with serious injuries, where she is described as being in a "serious but stable condition". The master bedroom is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the house with its super king-size bed and luxurious en suite shower room, not to mention the enormous windows that show off the gorgeous view of the loch. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities at Craig Villa Guest House. There are big red deer and tiny wood ants, scampering red squirrels and soaring golden eagles.

The cabin was great, clean warm and comfortable. The apartment was perfect. No smoking. We speak English and 43 other languages. The attractive twin bedroom downstairs makes use of a bathroom with both a bath and separate shower and there is a larder, office and utility room with washing facilities all on this level. Upstairs the spacious landing has a TV area and well stocked library for those wishing to sit quietly with a good book.
Welcome tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits.
