We ended up getting our entrees (very quickly) and moved onto mains. I said I did not want to leave a bad review on the internet given the pandemic and because hospitality has been particularly hard hit.
Welcome to The Rockpool CHRISTCHURCH’S PREMIERE DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT VENUE. Its superb menu is dedicated to the finest and freshest Australian produce. I would go back to Sydney just for that burger! The Steak Diane Pie with Potato Puree was...superb and my husband really enjoyed his Seared King Prawns with Goats Cheese Tortellini and Burnt Butter, Pine Nuts and Raisins. Would be good to have more Australian wine options from different regions, as the wines on offer were mostly French & Italian, The service was on point and food amazing as per usual. We have something for everyone here at The Rockpool. Service was fantastic too. welcome us, nor discuss the menu with us. Overall a magnificent experience and highly recommended! You might want to ask for it a little more cooked than you usually do.
!More, Rockpool has been on the list for a while and we managed to grab a booking on a Friday early evening, The restaurant was very busy. Booking in recommended for inside seating due to limited tables. At this point we were the only ones left in the restaurant. Absolutely delicious meal and service! I said to a male water who brought the plate that I was asked if I wanted the steak butterflied and said no.
