Glencarraig is the only place where his memories of his family are happy ones and there’s no way he’s going down without a fight. I've almost finished the book and have very much enjoyed it. If I handle it very carefully I might be able to read it once before it falls apart for good.
These are not mysteries by the Queen of Crime, but possibly a disguised autobiographical retelling of her life. Any more details will spoil the story. I plucked away a star because there are ither brilliant books by the author and although it's not the best but definitely one of the best ones. I love Agatha Christie's mysteries. All Rights Reserved. But this a different kind of mature story that may not be quite interesting read for the chick-lit read audience. Stranded between trains, Joan Scudamore finds herself reflecting upon her life, her family, and finally coming to grips with the uncomfortable truths about her life. Audio Cassette, Audiobook, Unabridged, Import. There are some excellent character portraits and a very different tone to the stories than the more well-known mysteries.
