This place had one cook and one waitress. Staff, ambience and food were good.
Very. A lovely meal. The side dish of Brussel Sprouts was awesome, no complaints there. The charcuterie plate was about 5 pounds of Oscar Mayer cold cuts. My steak was over cooked and both dishes felt bland and just needed seasoning. Order online and track your order live. This place had one cook and one waitress. I had never had burrata with shaved carrots and sliced cucumbers before and it didn't taste like they go together.
Overly lit, industrial tables nothing nice about it. The "Crispy Potatoes" sound like fries, but they are full-sized small white potatoes, with something on the outside but nothing to put on the inside, not even salt on the table. Service was slow and it was not crowded. One person had the salmon and it was ok. The waitress came back after our drink order to tell us they didn't have the alcohol called for in two of their specialty drinks. I like the seasonal menu with lots of local ingredients. One annoyance is the valet parking. Read reviews and book now. Thank you! The "Crispy Potatoes" sound like fries, but they are full-sized small white potatoes, with something on the outside but nothing to put on the inside, not even salt on the table. Take the Streetcar from anywhere downtown heading though PSU and RiverPlace. Would definitely go again. Great atmosphere and the food was so delicious.
Complimentary parking in Rivers Edge Hotel LotSW Hamilton Court is just south of the new South Waterfront development on Macadam Avenue (Hwy 43). My husband and I wanted someplace with a pretty outdoor area by the river. We would totally go back any day! Husband said the salmon was bland. Service was slow and it was not crowded.
I had lunch but I want to check out their dinner too. Unfortunately they changed the avocado toast and it missed the mark for me with two sauces drizzled all over it. I felt that the food was mediocre at best, and the price was unjustifiable for what it was. The food was very good and plenty of it. He told me they don't make reservations for outdoors, I said we made clear in our reservation we wanted to seat outside (The view was who brought us to the restaurant) He said they usually grant those. The food was excellent; crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in house made Kimchee, chicken liver pate on toast with pickled onions; very unique retained the chicken liver flavor while being rounded with a sweet vinegar something and an arugula salad. Service was meh. One annoyance is the valet parking. The charcuterie plate was about 5 pounds of Oscar Mayer cold cuts. I rarely write a review on a restaurant but this experience merits some discussion. Beet cured salmon flat bread; beautiful, well balanced and flavorful. Get to Rosswood - you won't regret it. The service was great from the host to the valet and the server. Food was a bit pricey, I mean $16 for one slice of avocado toast kind of pricey. The Ahi Tartare was not very flavorful, and the crackers that came with it were too salty. Very poor food. We started with the cheese board which was amazing! And sadly, there were only 3-4 other tables seated so it wasn't like the excuse was that they were crowded. Kitchen having trouble with eggs and had to be sent back. We started with the cheese board which was amazing! Delivery & Pickup Options - 287 reviews of Rosswood "Great place to grab brunch after a morning of biking on the Willamette River. Would definitely go again. Disembark at the last streetcar stop (Lowell and Bond) and follow the walkway South to Hamilton Court and Rosswood!

Won’t be back-. Friendly service. We had crab cakes, nice steak, and yummy dessert. House made pasta with mushrooms and chicken; al Dente, sauces perfectly wide variety of earthy mushrooms. This was our first time to Rosswood & have to say, it was one of the best meals we have had out in a very long time!! Sad how one person can make it go south. {"baseUrl":"http://www.opentable.ie","environment":"prod-ln","hostName":"mesos-agent31-prod-ln.otsql.opentable.com:31017","language":"en","releaseName":"start-page-docker_teamcity_2.0.10303","requestId":"c790a0d5-d31d-4530-bdb8-2434379833e9"}, 0470 Southwest Hamilton Court Portland, OR 97239, This restaurant added safety precaution details. I'll be back. SW Hamilton Court is the first left off Macadam Avenue (at light). Coffee service was slow and espresso and lattes were mediocre. Our waitress, Francesca, did a wonderful job. I had lunch but I want to check out their dinner too.
But food was pretty good. Even a cocktail to begin with. It looked like there was a staffing shortage and they were trying hard to cope.So we sat at the bar and after awhile a bartender showed up, he took our order but then made drinks for a server before he got to us.Soon we were at a table, but there was some confusion about who was to be the server. It was a ridiculous amount of what looked like processed meats. No delivery fee on your first order. Yes! The only complaint was with the Valet Driver who picked up the car after the meal was rude. Bloody Mary cocktail station and mimosa options were welcome add-ons. We were disappointed in the limited menu selection, delayed service and unimpressive bay shrimp salad.
Emailed the restaurant to share my experience and never heard back.
Please sign in to record your input. Valet always a perk!! I had the salmon and my husband had the steak, we were both very pleased with our selections. 1, and 2 was GREAT 3rd time I wasn't impressed. I’ll be back for entrees! I believe it was the new bartender (dark complex guy) First: He didn't find our reservation, no biggie, 2: I told we made reservations to go outside. We were not familiar with the restaurant and thought we were going to the predeceasor restaurant. You can book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size. Enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet. They were all excellent and we will definitely be back.
The only reason I give it a 3 stars is that our food just didn’t seem worth the cost.
