Audace Kubwimana. 2019 a été une année où l'ILC a adopté une nouvelle approche pour soutenir les défenseurs des droits fonciers en Afrique. Elle a abouti à la tenue par les membres d'une conférence de presse sur les droits fonciers des femmes et à la tenue de 23 événements parallèles et discussions lors de la 3e Conférence sur la politique foncière en Afrique, un rassemblement biennal qui regroupe les décideurs et les acteurs fonciers pour débattre de la gouvernance foncière. Lorsque le gouvernement a organisé une audition publique sur la redistribution des terres, LandNNES, le réseau foncier sud-africain, travaillant à créer une force qui augmente les possibilités de gouvernance foncière centrée sur les personnes en Afrique du Sud, a aidé les membres de la société civile à influencer les discussions.
