evh 5150 iii lbx review

Can do all the normal ohms settings, 4, 8 and 16 which is nice some amps just do the 4 and 8 ohms. It's a high gain amp with lots of aggressive distortion and no clean channel. Resonance and presence controls really allow you to shape the sound and have always been the secret to the 5150 sound. The name is synonymous with great rock tone.

Great pick response. Geez Louise what and amp killer ear bleeder and a loud 15 watts good effects loop ton of gain on both channels highly recommend this amp affordable and lightweight thanx again sweetwater you rock good for home and large venues. I never turn it up past 2 or 3. I've A/B'd this amp side by side, and this amp captures the original 100W EVH Red channel better than any of the 50w options or the LBXII. BLUE Channel is out of this world. 5501 U.S. Hwy 30 W, Fort Wayne, IN 46818 It doesn't do cleans and no stars off for that either because it's not supposed to do cleans. It was so close to the Soldano design that Mike Soldano started to sue Peavey and Eddie but Peavey is a huge corporation with loads of cash and lawyers and Mikes lawyers told him to drop it or be buried in debt.
